“Soo busy, no time, tired, exhausted” are words that have become our mantra, part of our daily life and in some way society wears them like a badge of honour. These words have become an excuse for us to be disconnected from our surrounds, family, friends and ourselves… “I’m too busy”. We find ourselves with less and less time and so very tired.
Not long ago, like a lightening bolt, I realised that these words had become my mantra, “so busy, so tired”. And like any good mantra that is used multiple times a day, I was getting busier and more tired by the day. Once I realised, my mantra fast became “there is time, breathe”. Every time I caught myself with “I’m busy”, I would stop, breathe, connect, recalibrate “there is time, breathe”. Since then my life has changed dramatically. I closed my yoga studio and I now work with my family and friends in mind and I make time to do what is best for me. Don’t get me wrong, I still catch myself all the time with ” I’m busy”, BUT, I’m not wearing it like a badge of honour and now cringe when I catch myself using this mantra.
Everything on the Earth in between, and above is arising from one effulgent source.
If my thoughts, words and deeds reflected this complete understanding of unity, I would be the peace I am seeking in this moment.
